The World Union...

Our leaders need to do something to isolate and ultimately strangle the cruel regimes as in Iran presently. I suggest thus establishing the World Union or the United World as you like, a world organisation as the United Nations is. But very different! The UN is wholly inefficient when it comes to deal with criminal states and do nothing to stop violence against women, besides all sorts of countries are allowed to join the UN as members, including Iran, Somalia, etc. To organisation as the World Union modelled on the European Union would be allowed only those countries which would base their constitutions on human rights and seperation of state and religion. This is a huge difference! Eureka! Act! Don't mistake my proposal for establishing the World Union as a global state. I propose here establishing a global organisation as the UN is. Well, establishing the World Union as a global state is impossible. But it is quite possible to establish it as yet another global organisation as the United Nations is for example. With this difference that the United Nations is completely inefficient when it comes to dealing with regimes as Iran while the World Union would become an effective tool for the whole international community because only the countries respecting human rights and the seperation of state from religion would be the members of the World Union. All countries would have to adapt and adjust and most of them would do it for the great number of benefits the way as for example the Eastern European countries did it to join the European Union. There would be left out the very bad states as Iran for example and they would be isolated, and strangled to the point their citizens would finally remove the regime and bring democracy in, joining the World Union in the longer term. Our leaders have to give the go ahead orders...@WOMEN OF THE WORLD UNITED AGAINST ISLAMIC/MUSLIM SHARIA LAW: you see, 57 islamic countries control the UN and this is the reason why nothing is being done for women in the islamic countries! I suggest astablishing the World Union, a completely different sort world organisation, see it just as another UN of which members can be only those countries which base their constitutions on human rights, thus also on women rights as well as seperation of state affairs and religion. In this light, only some of those 57 islamic countries would be eligible to become members of the World Union! Excellent idea, isn't it?! With the time more and more Muslim countries would try to change their laws, with giving equal rights to women, in order to become part of the World Union! The winning thus for women! The problem is how to do it? There is a need the politicians of the most powerful countries give orders to go ahead, the way as it was after the second world war when the world powers gave orders to establish the UN...@Marianne, Is the UN communism? No! But it is a bad world organization which legitimizes bad practises and gave membership to 57 islamic countries among whom Iran which is stoning women to death. My proposal is about another world organisation which would bring change, alongside human rights. See iit as yet another United Nations to which all countries must adapt and adjust and no country with criminal regime can become a member of. This is my proposal, the World Union!
One of surfers in Facebook have asked me this question: "Hi Thaddeus! What is the first step you can take to establish a World Union?" My answer was: "The first step? Well, we call our leaders and beg them to do what their predecessors did when they had decided to establish the United Nations. If they only knew that some things they did were done the wrong way! The World Union or the United World as you like, if it is created can never accept countries with catastrophic human rights records as members. Back to your question, I have no idea right now what I would do because I am a private citizen of this world and our leaders do not listen to us. But if I were, for example, the president of the USA, I am sure I would do all these steps, from the first to many next steps, our predecessors did when they had decided to establish the United Nations. I would, however, personally make sure human rights and seperation of state and religion were the basis for membership in the new world organisation. Only those countries who had human rights and seperation of state and religion firmly in their constitutions would be eligible to join as members. So for the first step I simply send you to the history books. Thanks for your question, and now I would like to ask you the same..."Well, I am still waiting for her answer. But in the meantime I would love to hear from all of you, what is your answer to this question, what are your proposals. Do you see any chances to create something new, on the scale as what happened with the United Nations? What is the first step according to you to establish the World Union or the United World as you like, and then the next steps, and finally the last step, in order to create a new world, more just?
